These terms govern your use of the 8x Contests platform. By creating an account, joining contests, or submitting work, you agree to these conditions.
2. Submission Rules
Each contest may define specific requirements for code, demo media, and documentation. You are responsible for ensuring that your submission is your own work and does not violate third-party rights.
3. Content and IP
You retain ownership of your original work. By submitting to a contest, you grant 8x Social a limited license to review and evaluate your submission for judging, talent assessment, and hiring purposes.
4. Prizes and Decisions
Prize decisions are made by the judging team based on stated criteria and are final. Prize issuance may require identity and payment verification. We may withhold or revoke prizes in cases of fraud or policy abuse.
5. Account and Platform Safety
Do not attempt to abuse platform infrastructure, bypass access controls, or upload harmful content. We may suspend or remove accounts that threaten platform integrity or user safety.
6. Updates to Terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected with an updated effective date. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.
